The HeartAche Series is a series by me consisting of three stories:
- Super Bas: Origins (SBO)
- HeartAche (HA)
- HeartAche Afterstory (HAA or HA Afterstory)
- Le Misanthrope of the Higher Nation (Le Misanthrope or Higher Nation)

It is also part of doujin circle 'IndigoCraft'.

The HeartAche series (HA for short, or HeartAche series/HA series) has a wide variety of characters, most of which are inspired by ZUN and his Touhou Project series, which acknowledged me of the wonderful beings of Eastern mythology, such as Youkai, Oni and 'Kasa-Obake' and much more. The characters are also based on Irish and Western mythology, and non-existent and real people. The story itself feels, for me, quite Touhou- and Clannad-like (which has inspired me a bit as well).
I design most of the HA characters and have created the HA theme ('HeartAche', which is a remix of Tess's theme, Ari's theme and Nanax's theme), HA Afterstory theme ('Medieval') and Le Misanthrope theme ('Le Misanthrope'). I write HA and Le Misanthrope on my own, while HA Afterstory will not only be a written story, but also a game programmed by ~GardevoirtheShroob and written by the both of us.

The plots of the HeartAche series mainly plays in a fantasy world. It follows the Main Character (me) who deals with misanthropic feelings and paranoia, as well as a special gift and a sort of 'inner monster'.
The story contains a lot of arcs as well, for each important character of the series. The story also revolves around a new species of humans, the Homo Sapiens Indicum, for short the Indigo's.
